Home Ground: A Geography of Northern Ireland (revised edition)

Category: KS3 Geography

PLEASE NOTE: This book is a REVISED AND UPDATED EDITION (2006) of the original Home Ground. Pagination and content remain the same, but figures and statistics have been updated as appropriate throughout, using the latest information - particularly census figures.

This beautiful full-colour book, written especially for children in Northern Ireland, at last provides an insight into the geography of their 'home ground'.

5 Settlement
6 Population
7 Economic activity

Each section is highly illustrated with diagrams, charts and local photographs and includes activities and question material to reinforce the information. Includes a full-page Ordnance Survey extract which is used throughout the book.

For the 10 to 14 age group who wish to find out more about the geography of Northern Ireland. This aspect of the National Curriculum for Key Stage Three is covered.
