Barry's Amusements has been an insitution at Portrush for as long as most people remember and at one time operated in other places such as Bangor, Co Down and Bray, Co Wicklow. It also operated a circus and travelling funfair. Professor Fairley's book is a comprehensive history of the firm, illustrated with photographs dating back to the early years of last century, showing the Trufelli family, the amusements and people enjoying themselves.
