By popular demand! Two workbooks to accompany the popular book The Race to Rule and are designed to be used alongside it. The workbooks contain a variety of new and extended activities to facilitate and further students' learning, for example:
> answering questions > completing tables > drawing/filling in diagrams and maps > composing letters, articles, reports etc from various points of view and for audiences > designing advertisements and leaflets > filling in the blanks
The workbooks are specially designed to cover the new requirement for the development of Skills and Capabilities: > Communication > ICT > Application of Number > Managing Information > Creativity > Problem Solving / Decision Making > Self Management > Working with Others
Each activity is designed to develop one or more of the Skills and Capabilities and relevant icons appear alongside each exercise. As well as being useful for the teacher, this will also encourage students' awareness of, and involvement in, their personal development of these skills.
