The Authors

Freddy Clifford is teacher of English, English Literature and Media Studies KS3 / A Level for 28 years. He has an MA in Education and a PQH. He is a Senior Teacher at Oakgrove College, Derry (former Head of English); Principal Moderator for GCSE English (CCEA); Chief Examiner/ Principal Moderator for ELQ English (CCEA); N Ireland Adviser for AS and A2 Media Studies (AQA).

Pat McGuckian has been a teacher of English and English Literature from KS3 to A Level for 20 years. She has an MA in English Literature, an Advanced Certificate in Education, a PQH and is Senior Teacher and Curriculum Manager in St Malachy’s College, Belfast (former Head of English). Seconded to ETI as Inspector of English from 2001-2002. Former Assistant Principal Moderator for GCSE English (CCEA). Appointed Associate Assessor with ETI in 2004.
