Maths To Go! Book 1 is a completely new Mathematics textbook written for Key Stage 3 pupils in Northern Ireland. It has been specially written for the Number and Algebra sections of the CCEA Key Stage 3 Mathematics syllabus at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. However, it could also form a core element of most courses.

Where appropriate, mathematical concepts are illustrated by local examples that will be familiar to students. The 19 chapters feature 124 exercises. A separate answer book is available for teachers.

This publication is aimed at foundation and intermediate level students learning the Number and Algebra sections of the CCEA Key Stage 3 specification.

The Author

Neill Hamilton is a practising teacher of Mathematics with many years of experience. He currently teaches at Dromore High School, county Down. He is also a Reviser on the CCEA Mathematics team.

The Series

It is hoped to follow Book 1 with three more books. The series as a whole would cover all four sections of the CCEA Specification.

> Book 2 (Shape, Space and Measures): levels 3, 4, 5 and 6.
> Book 3 (Numbers and Algebra): levels 5, 6, 7 and 8.
