Everyday ICT for GCSE
Category: GCSE ICT
A refreshing new look at the world of GCSE ICT, written specially for Northern Ireland students. Presented in a bright, accessible style, the text is illustrated throughout with full colour photographs and diagrams.
Pupils are guided into ICT in a way that is in keeping with their everyday experience of the technologies and issues discussed. The text is arranged by topic with additional explanations and definitions organised into boxes for clarity. Each of the 17 chapters concludes with questions and tasks, and two chapters also include Thinking Skills activities. The authors have included some references to appropriate web sites in order to promote further learning. This entirely new pupil textbook has been written to cover the theory examined in written papers. The authors are both currently teachers in Northern Ireland and between them have many years experience teaching ICT at GCSE level.
