The Irish Narrow Gauge in colour

Category: Narrow Gauge Railways

Railway writer Norman Johnston takes us on a nostalgic journey with the cattle trains from Dingle fair, Percy French's West Clare Railway (Are ye right there Michael, are ye right?), the roadside delights of the Cavan and Leitrim Railway, another trip on 'The Wee Donegal', and much, much more! All illustrated in rare colour, this book takes us back to the world of the 1950s when there really were donkeys on Irish roads and men went to the seaside in three piece suits.
