The Changing Nature of Economic Activity Category: A-Level Geography "Primary, secondary and tertiary economic activities have changed and continue to change. ...we will examine the causes and effects of some of these changes and a number of brief case studies will be outlined. ... we will look at how the different types of economic activity are increasingly being integrated as, inexorably, the world moves towards a global economy." (Introduction) The Author Stephen Roulston, B.Ed, MA, D.Phil, taught Geography briefly at Foyle and Londonderry College, and then moved to Ballymena Academy, becoming Head of Department there. In 1998 he took up a position as the Geography Field Officer with NEELB. He now works with C2k as a Learning NI Development Consultant.
