(Chapter 1) The Author Arthur Byrne, MSc, BSSc (Hons), PGCE, PGC in Marketing, is Head of Geography at St Louis Grammar, Ballymena. He graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1975 and completed his Postgrad in Education at Warwick University. He taught for two years at Cardinal Wiseman Comprehensive in Coventry, before his appointment to St Louis Grammar. He was appointed Head of Geography in 1982, and has wide experience in teaching and assessing geography at A Level.
