The Author

Dr Rees is a practicing A-level teacher. His doctoral thesis dealt with the relations between Northern Ireland, the Irish Free State and Britain in the period 1945 - 1951. He is co-author of a number of school textbooks, and author of Ireland 1905 - 25 (Colourpoint, 1998).
