The Authors

Kathleen Gormley has a Masters degree in modern history and teaches history and politics at St Cecilia’s College in Derry. For two years she was seconded to the Western Education and Library Board as a History advisor. She is author of several local history publications and textbooks, including co-authorship of the other two books in this series.

Sheila Johnston has a background in Further Education and Librarianship. She is a partner in Colourpoint and a writer. Her works include Alice, a Life of Alice Milligan.
